But more importantly, it is a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness and much needed resources for a local cause. 2023 will support Tony’s Community Kitchen—a local Toowoomba organisation providing meals and a friendly face for those doing it tough in the region.

Behind the




Lachlan Hogan, a found committee member of the Gather & Graze Charity, is passionate about giving back to the community.

His love for supporting community charity efforts is evident in his commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of those around him.

As a successful and renown jeweller and owner of a the institution that is Hogans Family Jewellers, Lachlan understands the importance of supporting local causes and giving back to the community. His dedication to philanthropic endeavours has earned him a reputation as a selfless and compassionate leader in the community.

Whether he’s organising a charity event or creating a masterpiece with diamonds and jewels, Lachlan is always making sure he is involved and engaged in the entire process and leaving a legacy that is truly memorable. 



The original ideas man behind Gather & Graze, Michael is always zealous to throw a great event to help raise funds for those in need.

No idea is too big and nothing is unachievable with Michael on your team. Michael is a jack-of-all-trades; a full-time construction foreman at his family business Valdal Projects, co-owner of the Dairy Hiring Shed (a boutique event and hire company) and soon-to-be head operator of The Dairy, an incredible function venue in picturesque Ravensbourne. Not only is Michael a master of planning and organisation, he also has an incredible creative eye for design and style and is an essential part of the styling team too. Whilst Michael wears multiple hats he ensures that everything is done to its absolute best and is an integral part of Gather & Graze.



Aaron is the owner and creative behind Harold’s Finishing Touches—a boutique lifestyle store in Toowoomba.

An institution of retail and design both here and abroad with boxes of Harolds goodies ending up in all corners of the globe. Aaron worked behind the scenes at the first G&G event as part of the styling team, helping to create a beautiful event that left guests speechless and recalling it for months. Not afraid to get his hands dirty, Aaron grew hundreds of potted herbs for the centrepieces for 2021’s Gather & Graze. Jumping on board the committee after the first year, Aaron dove deep into the planning, socials and styling. Being a part of the legacy of Gather & Graze and its charitable endeavours year after year is one of Aarons proudest and most humbling achievements. 



Alex Johnson is a seasoned construction professional with extensive experience in the industry.

He currently works for Alliance Building Construction, where he has expertise in project management, budgeting, and scheduling is well regarded. In addition to his construction skills, Alex has a background in finance and organisational management, which he applies to his work on the Gather & Graze Committee. As a member of the committee, Alex is dedicated to supporting the organisation’s mission to provide assistance to those in need.



With a background in Interiors and events spanning over a decade, Josie changed focus and turned her hand at running her and her husband’s incredibly busy construction company.

A self-confessed spreadsheet freak with an incredible eye for detail, Josie embraces all the facets of planning and organising an event. From concept to installation, Josie aims to wow guests with an event they have never experienced before and likely won’t ever forget. Despite loving all the beautiful details, colours and extravagance an event like Gather & Graze entails, it is the giving back to the community which is most important to Josie.
